Our 1-2-1 sessions blend a 15-20 minute emotional control workshop / target setting with 40 minutes of exciting boxing training to build resilience, emotional regulation, and discipline, not to mention having fun and releasing that feel-good feeling.
We assist adults and young individuals in navigating today's challenges.

Physical Outlet: Boxing provides a constructive physical outlet for releasing built-up tension and anxiety. Engaging in the physical demands of boxing, such as punching pads and circuits, allows individuals to channel their stress and energy in a controlled manner.
Stress Reduction: The physical activity involved in boxing stimulates the release of endorphins, which are natural mood lifters. Regular exercise can help reduce overall anxiety levels by promoting relaxation and reducing stress hormones.
Focus: Learning the basics of boxing requires concentration, shifting their focus away from anxious thoughts, and understanding they are in control.
Emotional Regulation: Boxing can teach students emotional regulation skills as they learn to manage their emotions during training. They must stay calm and focused, even in challenging situations. This ability to regulate emotions can translate into improved emotional control in everyday life.
Self-Empowerment: Seeing improvements in ability can improve self-esteem and confidence. Feeling capable and empowered can counteract the feelings of helplessness that often accompany anxiety.
Our sessions can serve as a dynamic outlet for managing stress and building resilience.
It starts with building trust through the sessions; this is crucial, as it creates a safe and supportive environment for individuals to open up about their struggles. This is the goal of our first few sessions.
As the sessions evolve beyond the physical training, we incorporate positive conversations on resilience, problem-solving, and accountability. This can be transformative for individuals, encouraging participants to apply the discipline and determination they learn in the boxing session and the stories shared together to their everyday lives.
The physical exertion during boxing sessions provides an ideal setting for these conversations. The endorphins released during exercise can make individuals more receptive to positive discussions, making it easier for them to absorb and apply the advice and strategies provided. By fostering these qualities alongside boxing skills, we can empower individuals to face life's challenges with a newfound sense of confidence and the tools to manage anxiety and stress constructively.
Later in the session, goals with accountability will be set to help reinforce to the individual that they are stronger than they believe.
Reflection will take place at the end to show themselves firsthand how they have improved physically, emotionally, and mentally.
